Night Hygiene Manager
Worcestershire
Salary up to 39,000 plus 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays, pension
This business has an excellent reputation for making superb desserts and cakes for the grocery multiple sector. The organisation is well established and a market leader in several categories.
At present the company is going through major operational and cultural change and requires an exceptional Hygiene Manager to work on their night shift.
You will take responsible for the management of 2 hygiene teams working on the night shift. You will ensure that these teams are cleaning the site and equipment to an agreed specification. You will be managing the night hygiene team across 7 days a week, taking full accountability for their performance during the shift.
We are seeking an excellent people manager, one who can command respect through proactive and engaging management of teams.
The main critical areas of this role will include:
- Health and Safety
- Hygiene planning
- Cost control
- Service levels
- People development

You will be an experienced senior hygiene professional currently working in the FMCG/Food production sector, ideally with knowledge of a High Care or Chilled food manufacturing environment.
You will be used to managing teams of people, including motivating, rewarding and disciplining.
