Key Account Manager, SW London, Salary to £35k
We are seeking an exceptionally experienced Key Account Manager to represent this tourism client and maximize sales performance out of the UK. The involves building solid commercial relationships with multiple relevant tour operator partners to drive sales against set objectives. You will have a background in commercial, contracting or sales within the UK travel industry and experience working with travel agents and operators. Ideally you will have a strong background in Middle East tourism sector. The role is a 50% office based 50% onthe road role based in SW London paying a salary to £35k.
Tourism Account Manager Responsibilities
Tour Operator Communication
Identification of partners that need marketing support
Sales performance tracking and management
Distribution of content
Budget management and tracking
Representing client at roadshows and events
Liaising with those responsible for advertising and PR
Planning and leading fam trips
Operating as part of a small team, there may be a need to help colleagues occasionally at events.
Tourism Account Manager Requirements
Educated to degree level.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Commercial / Contracting / Sales role within the UK travel industry.
Excellent understanding of the Tour Operator landscape in the UK.
Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
Exceptional communication skills, internally and externally.
Ability to work under pressure and to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Where necessary, the role will require UK travel to meet TO partners, visit and train travel agents, attend roadshows or events.
Occasional international travel to visits the clients, see the product, and possibly escort agents or media on fam trips.
