What is the role?

To work as part of Halo Conferences & Events team to ensure the service we provide is of an exceptionally high standard, maximise sales, provide a great service and product to all customers by serving them in an efficient manner and to ensure that the area you're working in is clean, washing up is completed and assisting the team leader as required.

What are we looking for?

Halo is looking for positive, enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our hospitality and public catering team. Working as part of the hospitality team to ensure the service we provide is of an exceptionally high standard. Providing a great service to all customers by serving them in an efficient manner and working with all other team members, Team Leaders and Room Managers.

Responsibilities and duties:


To report to the correct area of work by the time given.
Work as part of your team and be flexible in the role you are in.
To ensure that all stock on site within your area is kept safe at all times.
Ensure that you are clean, correctly and smartly dressed at all times.
Excellent customer and client relations are maintained at all times.
Using own initiative to organise various tasks in order of importance and manage time effectively.
Maintaining a proactive and professional work attitude at all times.
Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times. Excellent customer and client relations are maintained at all times.
Know the menu, in order to answer any questions quickly and efficiently.
Serving food and drinks at the required company standards.
Dealing with complaints.
Ensuring your working area is clean and tidy.
Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws.
Always check for ID when appropriate.
To complete all relevant food Hygiene Documents.
Greeting Taking orders for food and drinks if necessary.
Serving food and drinks to the company's standards.
Always greet the guest or employee when encounter
