Milton Keynes Head Office + Nationwide UK
+ Company Pension Scheme + Private Health Package

We are part of a successful industry leader within the gaming industry, with 160 high street venues operating throughout England. We are a dynamic, multi-talented organisation with a defined people strategy.

What is your perfect Learning & Development role?

We have an exciting opportunity for a People Development Consultant to join our People Development (L&D) team covering a UK role. Your role will be supporting the three main areas of our business, our Support Centre based at Milton Keynes, our Service field based department and 160 venues across UK. The needs for each of these business areas is distinctly different and as such, this opportunity allows you to draw upon a range of experience and implement unique learning interventions suited to each of these business areas.

Reporting into the Head of People Development, you will engage with the business on an operational basis to ensure the key learning priorities of the business, departments, teams and individuals are met. You will be key to ensuring our venue colleagues deliver excellence in customer service and compliance at all times, and will be responsible for conducting activities around the full training cycle, to help deliver the operational L&D strategy and the overall Business People Plan.

You will provide advice and guidance to colleagues within the business relating to all aspects of people development and keep up to date with changes within the organisation, making appropriate recommendations to support these changes. You will design and deliver learning and coaching interventions aligned to colleague and business needs.

You will achieve this by working alongside key stakeholders within the business, regularly analysing training needs, interacting with colleagues at all levels and have a firm understanding of the business objectives. You will also be experienced or have an interest in e-Learning design and be competent to use your creativeness to implement insightful, engaging and meaningful interactive e-Learning modules.

L&D / People Development Consultant Experience Required:

You will ideally hold a relevant training/learning qualification and have proven Learning and Development expertise. It is desirable for you to have experience of e-Learning design using software such as Articulate Storyline 2 and Powtoon. You will be able to demonstrate strong influential, networking and interpersonal skills at all levels and the ability to effectively plan, organise and manage multiple tasks.

If this sounds like you, and you are looking for a varied and challenging role which offers an excellent opportunity for further growth and development then we'd strongly encourage you to apply.
