Leisure Travel Consultant – VIP Travel – No Sales Targets

Central London

£ circa £29,000 + Benefits

Ny client is a leading travel management company based in Central London.

They are now recruiting for a Leisure Travel Consultant with extensive tailormade experience to create high end bespoke private holidays for their clients.

This would suit an experienced Leisure Travel Consultant who is looking for move away from a targeted sales environment in to a high value Monday to Friday role, 9-5.30.

Leisure Travel Consultant key responsibilities’:

  • Prepare tailormade bespoke travel itineraries for leisure and high-end clients
  • Liaise with clients to gain approval for the travel package
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the variety of travel options available to the client
  • Book and facilitate all aspects of the client’s travel, such as transfers, car hire, etc. in line with agreed itinerary and client requirements;
  • Up-sell softly added value items, such as airport transfers, VIP airport services, extra nights’ accommodation, car hire etc
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to promote leisure travel services
  • Undertake regular training to ensure comprehensive knowledge of Amadeus and other appropriate software
  • Provision of support to the corporate client team as needed

       Leisure Travel Consultant Knowledge and skills required:

  • Previous tailormade experience within the leisure travel industry
  • Good IT skills and Amadeus knowledge
  • First class customer service skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good travel product knowledge
  • Ability to successfully manage a high-volume workload in a professional and calm manner

   Leisure Travel Consultant Knowledge and skills required:

  • Base Salary to £29,000 depending on experience
  • 22 days annual leave
  • Pension
  • Travel concessions
  • Monday to Friday 9-5.30
