Leisure Travel Sales Training Manager - London – up to £45k

A great opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing businesses at a managerial level. The business employs in excess of 180 people with c70 sales people.
The Sales Travel Training Manager will be working with an established sales team focusing on their initial and ongoing sales training and development.
The key goal of the Sales Training Manager is to utilise the employees’ skills to improve team and individual performance and results in line with the business objectives.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record to:

  • Conduct learning/training needs analysis
  • Breakdown goals and targets to develop action plans
  • Design and deliver effective sales training programmes
  • Improve sales performance and evaluate results and adjust training plans accordingly.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and adapt training material to constantly improve training effectiveness to ensure it remains up-to-date.
  • Train all new inductees
  • Identify training needs and implement training regime when required, whether this be a standardised list or individual ad-hoc needs, building a robust training programme for all.
  • Deliver 'refresher’ and ongoing sales training to existing members of staff
  • Give constructive feedback
  • Adhere and comply with ABTA, ATOL and IATA regulations at all times, as well as internal policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure that call centre agents are coached to provide the highest level of call quality.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience gained within a sales training role with proven performance against targets, and excellent compliance
  • Proven first class interpersonal and training skills
  • Have an ability to inspire and motivate a sales team
  • Telephone-based sales training experience is desirable
  • Specific experience in travel desirable
  • Drive and tenacity to achieve results
  • Strong computer literacy skills to enable you to create an engaging training programme.
  • You will be pragmatic and hands-on and have a genuine affinity with the product(s) being sold.
