Travel Reservations Consultant – Luxury UK & Ireland - London – £20k

 

A Travel Reservations Consultant is needed by a leading and expanding travel tour operator.

 

Do you LOVE London? Do you want to help create unique and individual experiences for a wide range of corporate, events, private individuals and travel groups? As Travel Reservations Executive, you will be joining a lively travel team of luxury reservations specialists who have a passion for creating bespoke itineraries for their clients to ensure they create a unique and special experience for their high spend clients. Your expertise and knowledge of the luxury travel industry will come into play whilst creating unique itineraries for VIP and high spend clients.

 

As a Travel Reservations Consultant, what will you be doing?

  • Maintaining relationships with existing clients as well as building new relationships 
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers and ground handlers in the travel industry  
  • Provide costing of pre-selected hotels and services in response to client’s requests  
  • Creating bespoke itineraries for your clients to ensure customer satisfaction is met 
  • Book and negotiate services – guided tours, restaurants, attractions 
  • Use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles
  • General admin and office duties

What do they expect from you?

  • Experience of dealing with high spend clients that are seeking unique and very special experiences
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment
  • Excellent time management and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail/accuracy and precisions
  • Knowledge of the UK & Ireland an advantage but not essential
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office application (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
