Luxury Travel Consultant

Our client is a specialist in Luxury Corporate and Leisure Travel.

They are currently seeking a Travel Sales specialist to join their leisure team to sell their tailor-made luxury holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Handle sales enquiries

·         Sell worldwide holidays to new clients and repeat business

·         Understand your clients needs to propose products that suit them best

·         Maximise each sales opportunity

·         Have extensive destination knowledge and utilise this when selling the products

·         Convert quotes into bookings

·         Resolve complaints as and when necessary

·         Develop product knowledge by attending FAM trips and independent visits

·         Strive to hit and exceed your targets

·         Represent the company at client and supplier events

·         Attend and participate in training and team meetings

Personal Requirements:

·         Knowledge of a GDS, preferably Galileo or Sabre

·         Strong booking and processing skills

·         Proven ability to close sales

·         Excellent Worldwide and travel industry knowledge

·         Service and client focused

·         Able to work under pressure

·         Positive and helpful attitude

·         Courteous

·         Outstanding communication skills

·         Good administrative skills

·         High level of time management, work load prioritisation and organisation

·         Conscientious

·         Results orientated
