Luxury Travel Consultant London 24-28k + bonus, OTE 35-50k! Gerrard McCall are recruiting on behalf of a well-established luxury travel company in London, specialising in creating bespoke luxury holidays and small group tours to the most exciting destinations in the world. They are currently seeking Specialist Travel Consultant for their successful North America division. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previous experience selling tailor-made luxury holidays to destinations in North America and who has personally spent time in the region first hand. The company are a multi-award winning tailor-made luxury tour operator with a dynamic team of enthusiastic professionals. They are seeking a creative and confident team member who will take an interest in their own team and also the wider business. This is a fast-growing and forward-thinking company, who encourage their staff to be involved in the company as a whole. The role: Tailor-making dream holidays to destinations in North AmericaDiscussing and creating bespoke itineraries for new and existing clientsConverting sales and confirming all travel arrangementsSupplying clients with all necessary pre-departure information and documentationBeing the first point of contact, from the initial enquiry until the clients' return from holidayLiaising closely with other members of the team and company to ensure everything is a smooth experience for your clients The package: Excellent basic plus bonuses (around 10-20k in bonuses/commission is the norm)Monday to Friday, business hoursWorking as part of a happy, creative and motivated team Requirements: Previous experience selling luxury holidays to North AmericaExtensive first-hand knowledge of North America as a travel destination and the ability to stay on top of what clients are looking forGreat relationship-building skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with clients and understand their ideal travel experience, before creating a bespoke itinerary that perfectly matches their needsHigh level of commerciality when working with suppliers and pricing tripsEnthusiastic phone manner to excite clients about potential or future tripsFluent English - written and verbalAble to use an airline reservation system/GDS (Galileo preferred)Highly motivatedInfectious enthusiasm for North America as a travel destination Apply now, interviews to take place very shortly!
