Job Title: Maintenance Assistant
Responsible to: Management on duty
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
To ensure that you arrive on duty at the correct time and that your personal appearance is well groomed.
To be fully conversant with the workings of both the Housekeeping and Reception departments.
To help maintain the Hotel in a good working manner.
To carry out duties as required on the day.
To report problems, inaccuracies and discrepancies immediately to the Duty Manager.
To leave the rooms and public areas in a clean and tidy manner.
To be aware of and abide by legal restrictions.
To carry out the jobs in a quiet and orderly manner.
When purchasing any items for the work carried out in the hotel a purchase order must be signed by the General
Manager or Duty Manager.
To be responsible at all times for your actions.
To be flexible in assisting around different areas of the hotel in response to business and customer needs.
To attend training sessions when required and to operate in line with the training or information received.
To attend briefing sessions and hotel/departmental meetings when required.
To achieve action points arising out of job chats.
To demonstrate a pride in your workplace and a high level of commitment.
To comply with statutory and legal requirements for first aid, fire, health & safety, food hygiene and licensing.
To work shifts as detailed in agreement with management.
To undertake any other duties as and when required by management.
