ABOUT US Our Technical Services teams are proud to deliver excellent service to our guests and ensure the services they see and touch are in great shape. They provide a speedy response to any service breakdown and manage the environment within the buildings to give our guests a comfortable leisure break. The safety of our guests at Center Parcs is paramount to everything we do. It is the Technical Services teams' responsibility to maintain safety features throughout the village structures and services, we conduct strict safety audits upon ourselves to make certain Center Parcs staff and guests are safe within our facilities. ABOUT THE BENEFITS Annual profit share/management bonus Staff Reward Scheme Free use of leisure facilities Discounted Center Parcs breaks 20% discount in restaurant and retail outlets ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking to appoint a Maintenance Technician (Gas and Heating) to join our Technical Services team. In this role, you will attend call outs to guest accommodation as well as general buildings around the Village. You will carry out tasks to resolve maintenance issues, reporting any defects or issues which may cause future problems. Other responsibilities will include undertaking inspections, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and assisting with any other general work as briefed by Technical Services Management. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills as you will regularly come into contact with both colleagues and guests. Trade experience is essential as technical knowledge will be required. HOURS OF WORK You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week and will include working some public/bank holidays. You will be required to work on a rota basis which will include weekends and early/ late shifts. During late shift you will be required to be 'on call' for any issues that may arise during out of hours working. ABOUT YOU Essential requirements: Previous trade experience is required in the relevant technical field Full UK driving licence One of the following qualifications; NVQ or SVQ in Engineering Maintenance and Installation in Plumbing, Heating and Ventilation Level 2&3 (refrigeration and air conditioning is desirable but not essential) Current Gas Safe qualification Closing date: 27 September 2016 at 12 Noon Interviews to be held week commencing 3 October 2016
