THE JOB Our client, a premium Gastropub group that is proudly recognised for its high standards and quality fresh produce, require a passionate and experienced Deputy and Assistant Manager to join their team, supporting the General Manager and managing the business in their absence. THE ROLE This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to have impact on this business and use this role as a platform to managing your own venue. You must be prepared to excel in a high volume environment, whilst mentoring and coaching staff and demonstrate your capability to run your own venue in the near future. THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate must hold a Personal License, but also: Have at least 2 years' experience as a Manager in a similar high volume, food led Gastropub environment.Be a confident people person that is focused on delivering a first class customer experience.Be prepared to be hands-on - leading from the front, taking pride in your work and encouraging the same mentality from the team around you.Be able to interpret the P&L, manage costs and GPs to budgetHave a confident knowledge of managing stocks and standards of hygiene and health & safety.
