Marketing Assistant: Required for this expanding travel company with various brands, based in the Berkshire area. They are looking either for a marketing graduate looking for their first role or a second jobber with previous marketing experience. They will pay between 21/23k + benefits.
Marketing Assistant duties:
-Contribute to brand and marketing planning
-Create marketing communications and content for a number of brands in line with strategic marketing plans
-Create and maintain working Microsoft Office templates for multiple brands
-Management of social media business accounts
-Managing website content and internal comms platform via Content Management Systems
-Providing administrative support to the Marketing Director in all marketing-related activities
Marketing Assistant skills required:
-Understanding of modern marketing principles. Some experience in marketing and/or a marketing qualification is essential. This is a fast-paced role, so the ability to hit the ground running is required. The right candidate will quickly gain a lot of experience across a wide range of the marketing remit.
-Creative mindset - this role is hands-on, creating written content, imagery, video and more. Experience in these areas is advantageous.
-Adaptability - working across a variety of brands and a range of mediums and channels, adaptability is key. Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
-Collaborative and confident - a collaborative approach to teamwork, with the confidence to question colleagues where appropriate. Good people skills essential.
-Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
-Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
-Qualification in marketing (Bachelor's Degree/Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma or equivalent) or relevant field is a strong advantage.
