A tour operator is requiring a Marketing Executive to join its friendly award winning team to help contribute to cutting edge marketing campaigns.  You will play a key role in assisting the department stand out from the rest, where you will be engaged in a variety of direct to consumer and trade marketing activities across their highly desirable brands.

As Marketing Executive you will:


  • Be involved in both strategic planned and tactical activities
  • Work with design teams to brief and produce the creative advertising plan and sign-off on all national press and consumer magazines and other consumer press advertising
  • Check all copy that is produced in house and by third party operators, to ensure information is accurate and in line with the brand guidelines
  • Work with the advertising agency to keep abreast of current media plans and media movements
  • Work with external parties to brief and create all advertorials for all press titles
  • Deliver Reader Offers both through the agency and direct
  • Support with developing and delivering Direct Mail campaigns
  • Fulfil all requirements for promotions, incentives, point of sale, and all communications
  • Create specific pieces for co-op travel agent marketing and supply all appropriate collateral and point of sale for all events and shows
  • Create and supply all trade advertising weekly to all trade press
  • Keep the trade website up to date and innovative
  • Work with tourist boards and other industry bodies
  • Manage brochure fulfilment process including database management, brochure prints, fulfilment letters, costs etc
  • Manage all collateral quantities, stock an deliveries at the fulfilment, house, keeping costs to a minimum


The successful Marketing Executive will be a good communicator with an outgoing and vibrant personality and have a ‘can do’ attitude who can work to deadlines and multi-task.  You will be self-motivated and looking to progress in the role, with creativity, flair and be able to express yourself freely and articulately.  As Marketing Executive you wull have  2 year’s experience of retail and consumer marketing and an understanding of customer data, direct and trade marketing creative, print production and fulfilment within the Travel industry.  This is an excellent opportunity for an up and coming Travel Marketing professional to join one of the industries most progressive companies.
