Marketing Manager –Travel - German Speaking – Up to £35k

 

German speaking Marketing Manager is required by a well established travel company with an outstanding reputation for service, within a team of highly motivated and ambitious travel professionals.  As German speaking Marketing Manager you will be playing a key role in the successful development of travel marketing materials across online and offline channels to one of our clients key travel markets.

As German speaking Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Compiling the yearly marketing plan, media plan and budgets on the basis of the company’s strategy and monthly Marketing KPIs
  • Creating the yearly brochures and e-brochures including writing, modifying and proof reading texts and picture selection
  • Developing new tours in cooperation with the Product Team
  • Overseeing press relations
  • Conducting public relations and advert analysis - researching and validating articles in the press, analysing the ratio between PR and placed adverts
  • Organising client fam trips in cooperation with trade magazines and travel organisations (getting sponsors on board etc.)
  • Weekly mailings with special offers and quarterly newsletters
  • Supporting clients with any marketing requests: selecting, editing and sending pictures; preparing PowerPoint presentations, flyers and promotional texts
  • Managing the Digital Marketing Executive and interns in the Marketing Department: training, appraisals, references

 

The successful German speaking Marketing Manager will have experience of dealing with both online and offline channel, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.  The German speaking Marketing Manager will have strong people and communication skills.  Experience in the travel industry is advantageous but not essential.
