The main purpose of the role is to oversee the accounts department and be responsible for preparation of management accounts.
The analysis of management accounts for the board
Preparation of management accounts
Preparation of audit pack for statutory auditors
Balance sheet reconciliations
Reporting to board on variances in management information
Preparation and overseeing of Rota and accounts processes
Management of accounts team members
Oversee staff travel account for Directors
Reporting to Operations Director, external consultant and managing director on matters relevant to the accounts department
Mentoring of assistants within the department to further their career and develop their skills
Experience in a similar role ideally within the travel industry however will consider other industries
CIMA qualification is essential
Good communication skills by phone, email and face to face
Good IT skills
Strong Character and good management skills
Attention to detail
Experience in managing a small team is ideal
