Meeting & Events Coordinator - Guildford - Immediate start available

Starting salary of 17,000-18,000 + excellent benefits

We are currently recruiting for a Meeting & Events Coordinator to join our team. We are a large hotel and conference centre nestled in the heart of Guildford, offering superb facilities to our guests, visitors and delegates.

As part of our Events team, you will be responsible for seeking opportunities to increase revenue and maximise sales, build strong relationships with clients to fully understand their needs and receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets. You will also have some administrative responsibilities including daily conference billing, issuing proposals and contracts, and ensure all brochure requests are completed.

As our successful candidate, you will have a background in customer service with a proven ability to build relationships with customers both over the phone and face to face. You will be confident upselling services and be well presented as you will be acting as the face of the hotel when greeting potential clients.

We offer a starting salary of 17,000-18,000 + excellent benefits. You will work 45 hours a week, 8am-5.30pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
