My client is an international corporate communications company that assists businesses and other organisations to address critical communications between various parties. Their clients come from the FTSE 100 and 250 companies on the various international stock exchanges and Blue Chip Organisations, who are represented by Senior Level Board Members and up to President, CEO & Chairman.We have numerous meeting rooms located in a central London Townhouse, and can accommodate up to up to 24 people for meetings and the rooms are split over 7 floors, many of which offer natural sunlight and overlooking stunning gardens.We are now looking to hire a Front of House person who will be responsible for looking after the reception desk and meeting rooms across the building.Main Duties: * Working in a team of 4 * Morning set up of rooms (restocking mini-bar, fruit bowls, cups and saucers) * Escorting clients to rooms, offering refreshments * Preparing and serving of tea, coffee and biscuits to clients * Clearing rooms, washing cups and glasses in dishwasher. * Inspecting rooms and creating work orders for the cleaners and maintenance, following progress to completion in order to ensure that rooms are ready for guests * Liaising with event team at The Lincoln Centre * Meeting and greeting, proactively dealing with client needs and queries * Managing bookings: answering calls in a timely manner, booking appointments based on specified requirements, managing and coordinating the use of the 13 rooms in order to maximise the use of this resource * Taking on individual duties such as: dealing with the flower arrangements, liaising with fruit supplier, ordering food and beverage.Candidate Profile - What we are looking for:As this is a client facing role and you will be dealing with high profile people on a daily basis, we need you to be fluent in English, be outgoing, very personable & hospitable at all timesYou will take great care & pride in your work and your personal appearance & presentation at all timesBe able to provide a 'Yes I Can' level of attitude & serviceBe ready to exceed expectationsThis role would be someone who comes from a fine dining/Michelin* restaurant where they have regular involvement in dealing with guests, taking orders, clearing, cleaning & setting tables & meeting & greeting.Alternatively, it would also suit someone with previous or current airline cabin crew experience or perhaps a room attendant from a luxury 5* London hotel.Shifts patterns are fromandMonday - Friday and you will work a mixture of both each week.Due to the nature of the business, you will be required to start early on some days or finish late on others. Overtime is payable and for early starts before 0600, a taxi will be provided & paid for by the company.***Immediate Start and only open to UK/EU Nationals***
