Meeting & Events Sales Office Manager - + Bonus - 4 Star Hotel My client hotel is in the beautiful county of Buckinghamshire near Slough and Uxbridge who are now looking for a strong Meeting & Events Sales Office Manager. As Meeting & Events Sales Manager you will be responsible for three revenue co-ordinators and the overall day to day operation of the Meeting & Events Sales and to liaise with the Revenue Manager and Sales Team in carrying out effective revenue management and a strategic ,planning regime in order to maximize occupancy and revenues on all outlets of hotel. Work with Sales Manager to develop the optimum platform for M&E sales revenue maximization. Responsible for planning, development and implementation of M&E sales, marketing and promotional programs in order to drive revenue opportunities. Accountable for the Hotels M&E revenue targets as pertaining to the budget plan for both Rooms, Food & Beverage and Other Income. Direct all activities of the M&E department to ensure smooth running of the department and to ensure that a courteous and efficient service is provided as prescribed by the Company policies and procedures. Establishes and maintains the M&E accounts management system. Check the function reservations from the Opera system for updating of information and control function space allocation. Establish consistency, control, policies and procedures of the Opera Sales & Catering system. To ensure that all M&E office personnel are properly trained on Opera and that the system is regularly updated. Motivates and trains M&E reactive sales executives to ensure their best performance. To participate in team communication through weekly and monthly team meetings. To provide accurate management reports to ensure information relating to customer requirements, interests.
