MICE Travel Account Manager required by an independent and well-respected Travel provider which specialises in travel throughout the UK and Ireland.  As MICE Travel Account Manager you will be joining a skilled team of 14 multi lingual staff, dedicated to delivering a seamless travel experience to Business Travel Professionals. 

As MICE Travel Account Manager you will be:

  • Building relationships and maintaining a great working relationship with your clients
  • Building relationships with all suppliers and ensuring that you have excellent knowledge of any service that is offered
  • Assuming all responsibility for your clients pending and confirmed groups
  • Using Tourplan to make and amend bookings
  • Ensuring that all offers are followed up immediately
  • Organising and participating in any client famtrips that need to take place in order to win or facilitate a booking
  • Sending invoices on time to clients and ensuring that all payments are made within time guidelines
  • Liaising with accounts on all supplier payments and ensure that they are paid in advance of group arrival if this is what has been agreed.
  • Dealing with complaints as and when they arise in a professional manner
  • Expected to take your turn in the emergency phone rota
  • Expected to be aware of all Hotel, venue etc.  special offers on the incentive market
  • Producing competitive Incentive quotes for your clients
The ideal MICE Travel Account Manager will be a skilled and dedicated travel professional, with experience of working in an inbound tour operator and specifically Group Travel.  As MICE Travel Account Manager you will have an excellent knowledge of the UK as a destination and an understanding of what it has to offer.  The successful MICE Travel Account Manager will have a strong understanding of the conference, events and incentives market and the ability to work profitably within this market.  You will have excellent research skills and proven experience of preparing presentations.  Fluency in English/Italian essential and a third language such as French/Spanish would be advantageous.
