Operational and Audit Manager - an award winning caterer! - London - 40K per annum
This role needs to be taken by an individual who is able to assist in the mobilization of a variety of venues and build trust in the brand!
We are looking for an experienced Operational and Audit Manager, to join the management team, and work closely with our Operations Director. Ideally an experienced General Manager moving into multi-site operations management.
This role will involve regular travel throughout the different venues and it should be noted periods of time will be spent out of the office on site, and may necessitate overnight stays.
Purpose of role:
* Supporting operational requirement in client sites * Ensuring all service, legislative, company & customer expectations are met * Assisting in implementing operational & financial processes on new mobilizations * Supporting demobilizations of venues on exit * Carrying out unannounced audits on venues * Ensuring operational & financial standards are delivered * Guiding implementation plans * Providing action plans for any (under-achieving) venue * Establishing client relationships * Covering long term absences of GM (if necessary)
The successful candidate will have/be:
* Knowledge of the food service industry and current styles * Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role * Strong financial background and commercial acumen * Capable of directing multiple venues * Experience of Conference Centre/ Hotel C & B management * Experience of motivating, managing and disciplining staff * Basic Food Hygiene Certificate & Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate * Health and Safety in the workplace certificate * Highly motivated with excellent organizational skills * Contacting local businesses to sell hire packages for Christmas, World Cups etc
