Travel Industry - Travel Operations Executive – Surrey – Up to £23k

 


A Travel Operations Executive is required by a forward thinking, dynamic travel tour operator who provide once in a lifetime travel experiences to some of the world’s most beautiful travel destinations to provide operational support to the travel team.  As Travel Operations Executive you will undertake various supportive administration functions to the reservations team and provide direct support to fellow travel professionals.  You will provide a high level of specialised and personal service throughout the travel reservations process

 

As Travel Operations Executive you will be responsible for the:

 

  • Administration of bookings for all destinations on the travel reservation systems
  • Loading flight, ground arrangements, other travel operator information, hotels and transport suppliers’ information and contracts onto the reservations system accurately
  • Production of accurate itineraries and reservations confirmation details for travel plans
  • Production of accurate passenger reservations lists to airlines and travel suppliers
  • Running reports, entering insurance details, checking medical forms
  • Investigate issues arising from customers travel feedback
  • Replying to various types of correspondence - excellent spoken and written English is          essential
  • Preparing relevant reservations documentation for despatch - e.g. confirmations, invoices, tickets, itineraries, dossiers, letters, amendments
  • Liaising with customers on reservations queries and with suppliers regarding post-travel feedback
  • Liaising with clients on booking excursions, travel insurance and amending travel arrangements
  • Ensure that a personalised and first class level of service is provided consistently
  • Maintain an excellent degree of travel knowledge on the destinations and products within the company’s portfolio

 

The successful Travel Operations Executive will have two years travel industry experience in a customer service, travel reservations consultant, or administration function.  As Travel Operations Executive you will have proven experience of meeting and exceeding set performance targets, being able to display a strong focus on customer service as well as excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone to progress their travel career from Customer Service or Travel Reservations in a more operations and administration function for a leading travel company
