Out of Hours Homeworking Business Travel Consultant – Sabre BT Reservations Agent – Nationwide
Our ‘award winning’ business travel client is currently looking to recruit an experienced business travel consultant to join their well established ‘out of hours’ team and handle all business travel reservations on a portfolio of client accounts, primarily working evening & weekend shifts from ‘home’.
As an ‘out of hours’ business travel consultant you will have a good working knowledge of the UK business travel market, and have the ability to handle travel requests on a large portfolio of client accounts. You will be required to tailor-make complex travel itineraries for business travel clients who are travelling at short notice, and make reservations for scheduled flights and various ground products (hotels, car hire, rail & ferries). You will handle any business travel related fares & ticketing queries as required, and make any amendments to bookings as required, to include route & name changes and cancellations. Working to tight deadlines under pressure, you will also deal with any problems or issues in a professional & efficient manner, and have the ability to offer your clients advice on general business travel practice.
As an ‘out of hours’ business travel consultant you will have some proven experience working in a similar business travel or business travel reservations role booking scheduled flights and various ground products (hotels, car hire, rail & ferries), and ideally have a good working use of published fares, Cat35, nett, corporate & cluster fares. You will be a self starter, with great organisational skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure. You will have good attention to details, be extremely customer focused, and have a good working knowledge of the Native Sabre booking system. Previous experience working on a similar ‘out of hours’ operation from home would also prove an advantage in this very demanding & fast paced role.
