The role covers a wide range of duties so flexibility is essential, as is an excellent standard of written and spoken English, a confident and calm phone manner and good attention to detail, whilst working under pressure. This is a UK office based role, but occasional overseas travel may be required.
*Investigate and respond to clients' post departure complaints (via multi-channel receipt) in line with ABTA response compliance & assist in logging new complaints, when required
*Handle customer complaint calls, including challenging situations in a calm and professional manner
*Monitor and record all incoming questionnaire feedback and upload appropriate reviews
*Assist in identifying patterns / areas for improvement with internal departments, to improve the customer experience, ensure safety compliance and maximise compensation recovery
*Preparation of stats and reports for the Customer Service / Legal team
*There will be some overlap of duties with the Contact Centre / Operations travel team, full training given
*Assist the team with company Health & Safety requirements
*Good knowledge and experience of the travel industry is essential, with a minimum 3+ years' background, gained from working within a Customer Relations environment
*Excellent oral & written communication skills, with good organisational ability and deadline achievement
*Good knowledge of the existing Package Tour and Travel Regulations & the ABTA Codes of Conduct
*Proficiency in in Excel / Word / PowerPoint
*Knowledge, familiarity and experience of social media and consumer review websites
*Must have professional diplomacy and mature conduct
*High level of problem solving using initiative and the ability to work autonomously
*Proven track record delivering superb results
*Keen to undertake more training and develop skill set
The starting salary for this Customer Service Executive (Post departures) position is £27,000
The role is initially planned to work across a 09.00-18.00 Monday to Friday work but flexibility expected.
