Are you an experienced Travel professional that would like to move away from sales targets? Do you prefer dealing with back office amendments and providing an excellent customer service over sales targets? Do you prefer standard working office hours (9 - 17:30) instead of working late shifts? I am currently seeking a Pre / Post Travel Customer Care Assistant with proven travel industry experience and strong organisational skills? This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge and to further their operational experience within a fast growing travel company.

The core focus of this position is to deal with all post booking queries, to ensure our customers' holidays take place with no problems.

* Dealing with queries from customers via telephone and email
* Action back office amendments
* Dealing with queries from other departments
* Liaising with the in-resort team
* Sending out paperwork to customers
* Dealing with changes to bookings
* Liaising to suppliers
* Obtaining customer information to complete bookings
* Courtesy calls to customer prior to their departure
* Assisting with customer feedback queries
* The chosen candidate will also assist with other areas of the operations as required

* A good long-haul geographical knowledge
* Experience in dealing with both customers and suppliers
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent telephone manner
* Attention to detail
* Able to work on own initiative and take ownership for completing tasks
* Professional attitude

· The successful candidate can expect an attractive starting salary of £18,000 per annum, rising to £19,000 after 6 months' probation

· 40 hours per week,
· Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm
· Saturday 9am - 5pm
