Product and Commercial manager - Required for this expanding ski company based in South Wales. They are looking for an experience product/commercial manager from the travel industry with a passion for ski. They will pay a fantastic salary and benefits for the successful candidate.
Product and Commercial managers duties
-Planning and implementation of product strategy across the Company's ski brands.
-Research and development of product types to expand current portfolio.
-Negotiate competitive contracted rates with new and existing suppliers.
-Contracting suppliers will vary depending on brand, some contracted directly, others will involve liaising with Consortium contracting department.
-Ensure supplier's revenue targets are met and if necessary renegotiated to achieve the best financial gain.
-Assessing market competition by comparing the Company's product to competitors' product.
-Monitoring the performance of the product range, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing a strategy to improve performance.
-Organise and conduct product training and fam trips for the sales team.
-Working closely with marketing and content team to ensure online descriptions and imagery are at all times accurate and of the best possible quality.
-Managing a product assistant and delegating appropriate responsibilities.
Product and commercial managers skills required
-Product and Commercial management experience within the travel industry
-Passion for skiing or snowboarding
-Experience negotiating with hotels and ground products
