Product Executive – Adventure Travel - £22,000 – SW London

A Product Executive is required by a highly regarded cultural & activity travel tour company who use their extensive first-hand knowledge of some of the world’s most exotic and exciting destinations to give their clients the very best travel experiences.  As Product Executive, you will play a key role in the client’s customer journey ensuring that only the very best travel and itineraries are implemented to ensure smooth and hassle tree travel experiences for clients.

 

Product Executive, what will you be doing?

  • Assist the Product Manager in helping design new innovative travel itineraries to launch on the website
  • Regularly source new travel product from ground handlers for client operations and website marketing
  • Source promotional airline fares and special offers, and link these to product for the marketing department to promote
  • Update existing SIs on the website in conjunction with the sales department
  • Competitor price and product analysis and general market research
  • Write up and maintain accommodation, travel guide and excursion descriptions and images in AXUM and on the website/ load products in AXUM database
  • Load our tour product onto third-party websites such as Responsible Travel, AITO and various tourism boards
  • Update and maintain GT & SI photo galleries (label, caption and size images as required)
  • Take ownership for all destination-specific information (such as Overview, Country Guides, When to Go etc)
  • Eventually have overall management of all product data on the company AXUM Reservations Database system
  • Liaise with IT teams and problem -solve if Product is not displaying correctly on the web
  • Represent the company at trade shows, slide shows and events such as WTM and AITO
  • Participate in training events and overseas FAM trips
  • Contribute and assist in other areas of the company as required

 

Product Executive - What do they expect from you?

  • A passion for travel and a strong interest in the adventure travel industry
  • Experience in a travel related role desirable but not essential
  • Copywriting and creative writing experience desirable
  • Experience in an office-based environment
  • Required to participate in the office Saturday rota
  • You will only have to work a maximum of 4 Saturdays a year
