Travel - Product Manager – Up to £35 – West Sussex

 

Travel Product Manager is required by a well-established leading travel company to assume full P&L responsibility for the Travel & Excursions product, develop, grow and expand the overseas Travel and Excursions business.  As the Travel Product Manager you will work closely across all internal departments as well as developing relationships with a wide network of external travel suppliers and customers.

 

As Travel Product Manager you will:

  • Develop new and improved Travel & Excursions product ensuring that it is aligned with changing and evolving customer behaviours
  • Delivery & maximization of the contribution, revenue and volume targets for travel product within agreed marketing and advertising cost budgets maintaining cost control over commercial expenditure
  • Provide positive and developmental management leadership to the Travel & Excursions product team
  • Prepare and implement promotional & advertising campaigns
  • Develop online and offline PR and social media campaigns
  • Oversee the production of online content, brochures & Tours & Excursions literature to a high standard
  • Oversee the selection, development and negotiation of commercial agreements with CCG’s Tours & Excursions suppliers
  • Ensure that the travel brand is well known within the travel industry and highly respected within the UK and abroad and that all Travel & Excursions product communication material promote a professional, fresh and distinctive brand image and identity.

 

The successful Travel Product Manager will have experience ideally within a competitive online travel sector, ideally within a leading customer focused organization, managing product and customer services, with previous P & L responsibility and experience of packaged flight and tour operations.  The Travel Product Manager will have strong leadership and motivational management skills with creative flair, business acumen and entrepreneurial style towards product being an Innovative thinker and creative problem solver with a flexible attitude to working in a dynamic environment.
