Product Manager is sought by one an industry leading and well renowned Adventure Travel Provider, known for their commitment to responsible Travel.  The Product Manager is responsible for the overall success (growth, quality and costs) of the Family Adventures programme, ensuring that the outstanding standards set by this company are met on each and every tour.

 As Product Manager you will be:

  • Responsible for the Family Adventure travel product including quality, customer experience and costs
  • The company travel expert/guru on all things Family Adventure
  • Developing your travel product to meet the strategic aims of the business
  • Looking for proactive commercial initiatives and 3rd party relationships to maximise sales and profitability
  • Liaising with the Flights team to secure flight and train requirements for the travel product
  • Ensuring marketing and distribution opportunities are maximised
  • Providing the very best family travel product in the market, contracted at the best rates, available for sale at any given time
  • Creating accurate and inspiring written content, including brochure / web /customer mailings / marketing co-lateral is available
  • Expected to travel overseas and within the UK as and when required. This may include contracting trips, training trips, FAM trips, recce trips, as well as visits and attendance at various trade and consumer shows

 The ideal Product Manager should have a great passion for all things travel exuding an enthusiasm for Family Adventure Travel and for giving the very best service.  The ideal candidate will be natural leader, who is both an independent thinker and a team player.  You should demonstrate a successful record of product development and have demonstrable experience in working to tight deadlines and under pressure.  This is an excellent opportunity for a Product Manager to develop their career by taking on more responsibility a programme management level with a leading adventure tour operator.
