Product Manager (Americas)– Up to £35k + Bonus & Benefits - Hampshire

 

Product Manager (Americas) is required for a company that have an outstanding reputation for the tours that they offer and command the respect of the travel industry for their ethical and responsible travel products.  As Product Manager (Americas) you will be passionate about travel for a range of cultural and multi-active tours that cater to the adventure travel demographic, whilst continuing to push the boundaries with pioneering tours that achieve the company vision of “Enriching Lives Through Adventure Travel”.

 

As Product Manager (Americas) you will:

  • Lead the Americas product team, driving the team forward to achieve strategic and personal goals
  • Be accountable for the overall profitability of their tours, sales growth and operating profit
  • Produce accurate and inspiring brochure / web text for all tours and ensure that the most appropriate product is on sale at the optimum price at all times
    • Have a close understanding of the competitive environment
    • Work closely with the Air Contracts Manager to ensure the best and most appropriate air costs and routings.
    • Have ownership of operational supplier relationships to achieve strong relationships
    • Ensure all products adhere to stringent guidelines on quality, safety and responsible travel
    • Provide product information required to maximise customer satisfaction and sales – including up to date planning sheets, updating the Product Database, sales focussed text & images for web, brochures, tour notes, 3rd party websites, one-off campaigns, PR releases & training material etc.

The successful Product Manager (Americas) will be natural leader, who is both an independent thinker and a team player with a passion for North, South or Central America.  The Product Manager (Americas) will be able to demonstrate a record of managing and developing a team whilst adhering to tight deadlines and under pressure and be able to communicate effectively at all levels showing an ability to construct logical, credible and winning arguments that will persuade decision makers (internal and external). As Product Manager (Americas) you will be comfortable taking responsibility to challenge current processes and participate in designing and delivering strategic growth, whilst being able quickly and decisively react to changing market conditions to continually drive towards achieving and then exceeding company and personal targets.   This role is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading company, taking wider strategic responsibilty, helping further successful growth.

 

 

Working hours - Monday - Friday: 9.00am – 5.30pm + excellent travel opportunities.
