Product & Marketing Manager

Your role will be overseeing our online team and responsible for research, develop market suitable products and develop marketing strategy to maximize revenue and profit. You need to have minimum 3 years’ travel industry related working experience.

Job Responsibilities include:

Manage a team of 2

  • to research, develop products, managing website and market the product.

  • Have the ability to work independently to recognise opportunities for growth and development

  • Keep on top of targets so that maximum commercial value can be achieved

  • Influence and work with the team to enable execution of plans in a timely manner

  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities

  • Forecast sales and budget effectively

  • Directly reporting to Directors. Accountable for the overall sales growth and profitability;


  • Conduct in-depth research to recognise the market trend for UK and Ireland Travel Products.

  • Research and develop strategy and innovative new products, meeting standards and reaching commercial targets;

  • Maintain an excellent commercial knowledge through regular competitor analysis, along with reading of competitors marketing output and monitoring of new opportunities.


  • Responsible to manage all our existing products and develop a set of innovative new products for our online website and offline brochures to meet standards & reach commercial targets,

  • Contract and negotiate all product content;

  • Product changes and supplier relation's management

  • Responsible for producing accurate and inspiring content for offline and online channels.



  • Ability to execute marketing campaigns by liaising with Product Development, E-Commerce, IT Team and Operations Department;

  • Reach out and liaise with external media/marketing/advertisement agencies as well as other relevant organisations to produce effective advertisements of all forms that helps increase brand awareness (on line, off line, printing, on air, on TV, mobile etc.);

  • Monitor team member about social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Plus, YouTube, LinkedIn etc.;

  • Must be out of the box thinker and have the ability to carry out research on all potential marketing activities and come up with innovative and actionable ideas;

  • Responsible for the production of marketing materials and literature (copywriting skills is essential and designing skills are desired);

  • Manage 3rd party platforms;

  • Collate information for promotional literature for the benefit of E-Commerce division;

Core Competencies:

  • Must have excellent Product & Marketing experience in Travel Industry. (Prefer for online B to C Travel industry related experience)

  • Proven track record and success with traffic, sales and profit growth

  • Very skilful with performance analytics, data-driven and numerate mindset

  • The successful candidate must be constantly focused on hitting targets and keen to grow rapidly in a dynamic environment

  • Strategic thinker with strong negotiation, communication and management skills

  • Strong negotiation, analytical and IT skills are imperative;

  • Strong business sense, analytical and organisational skills with a high degree of attention to details;

  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and interpersonal skills;

  • Works well under pressure and within short time constraints; able to work with high levels of ambiguity;

  • Ability to manage time to complete work effectively and efficiently;

  • Understanding of end-to-end product and/or service development life cycle is necessary;


Work Experience and Education Guidelines:

  • Proven 3-5 years’ relevant experience in procurement and product development or equivalent industry knowledge that includes global scope;

  • Minimum first degree qualified;

  • High level of competence in all core Strategic Sourcing disciplines;

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite;

Salary: Depending on experience, up to £29000/year + benefits
