We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to lead on the delivery of a coastal tourism product development project. This project will develop and test a product that solves problems faced by coastal businesses by presenting coherent thematic itineraries with an integrated transport offer. Main Responsibilities: Lead delivery on the objectives of the project to agreed timescales and budgetWork closely with Project Partners to understand their destination/visitor experience offer, provide support on engagement and the creation of the content for the coastal pass.Manage the procurement process for the key phases of the project (i.e. research, technology development, branding, etc.)Responsible for developing project outputs including compiling three case studiesProject administration, ensuring sound financial management and operating systems in line with funding body requirements.Coordinate and lead the Project Board meetings to ensure all Project Partners are engaged in the project and agreed objectives met.Prepare regular reports for funding bodies.Assist cooperation and partnership working between all stakeholders in the project. Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively and influence important decisionsTrack record in product development workExcellent communication and motivational skillsExcellent analytical skillsExcellent presentation skillsStrong IT skills including Microsoft Office programmesStrong financial awareness and experience in reporting for government funded projects The project involves five core destinations on the East Coast of England (from Hull to Harwich) as confirmed partners but may also include other destinations in that geography. This post does not need to be based in Bournemouth (i.e. a remote worker) but easy access to the East Coast, London and Bournemouth should be possible. Monday to Friday. 9am to 5.30pm 17.10 per hour. Contract until March 2017
