Promotions Marketing Manager – UK & Europe

Central/South West London

£40,000 + Bonus and Benefits

My client is a high-end luxury tour operator who sell through both trade and direct sales channels.

They are now recruiting for a Marketing Promotions Manager to develop, implement, communicate and monitor effectiveness of an enhanced programme of promotions and incentives internally and externally to help grow sales and brand awareness.

The Promotions Marketing Manager will be working closely with all internal departments as well as other overseas department to ensure maximum effectiveness of each promotion and partnership opportunity.

Candidates to be considered must have a background within the travel industry within marketing and extensive busienss to consumer market experience

Promotions Marketing Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Actively seeking out opportunities to drive sales through promotional and incentive activities across the UK and Europe, both to the trade and consumer.
  • Directing the trade incentive sales strategy of the business to secure future sales, in conjunction with the Sales Director and Marketing Team.
  • Communicating, internally and externally to all relevant departments and partners, of promotional messages whether it be a Flash Sale or a trade incentive campaign.
  • Helping improve the quality of promotions and incentives, to ensure they are targeting our valuable customers effectively and positively impacting sales.
  • Using global competitor analysis to help ensure commercial campaigns and incentives are relevant and effective in both UK & Europe.
  • Supporting the Business Development Managers Team on the road to increase coverage of promotional messages by attending key retail partner meetings.
  • Taking the lead with tourist board opportunities in the UK & Europe to secure and maximise coverage for the brands and assist their promotion events.
  • Developing brand positioning through the programme of promotions, incentives and brand partnerships

Promotions Marketing Manager Experience required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the travel industry is essential
  • Sales and Marketing experience
  • A self-driven sales mindset with a high work ethic and high energy
  • Proven track record of implementing creative, strategic and innovative promotions and brand partnerships
  • Experience of trade promotion campaigns
  • Strong interpersonal skills – can establish relationships with staff at all levels, as well as external partners

Promotions Marketing Manager Experience required:

  • Base salary to £40,000
  • Bonues
