A well established and award winning Hotel set in the Heart of Somerset are currently seeking a Head Receptionist/Reception Manager.
You will be required to support the reception team, working to cover reception throughout operational hours up until 11.00pm. You will be the first point of contact for all guest enquiries, with responsibility for answering inbound calls. You main responsibility will be to ensure the operation of reception is smooth and efficient with guest satisfaction being your main priority.
The role will also involve general reception duties, check in and check out and taking reservations. You will be responsible for all guest billing information and room allocations. It is essential you have an excellent understanding of the reservation process including monitoring booking agent websites.
As Head Receptionist it is expected that you will train and develop your team to achieve company growth and targets. You will provide excellent levels of customer service with a high attention to detail. Due to the nature of the industry hours will be 7.30am-3.30pm or 2.30pm-11.00pm.
The successful application will have outstanding personal skills and be able to communicate with people at all levels in a customer facing role. It is essential that you have managerial experience within the hospitality/service sector with an administrator/reception background with a solid understanding of reservations.
