Reservation and Ticketing Supervisor, Up to £30K Basic, West London

Our client are seeking an experienced Reservations and Ticketing industry professional to join their established team.

Duties and responsibilities of a Reservation and Ticketing Supervisor:

  • Supervise all Reservations & Ticketing team activities in both back office and front desk to optimize all customer interactions into potential sales outcome
  • Ensure all airline-client reservations and ticketing policies and procedures are correctly implemented and strictly adhered to
  • Provide excellent customer service to client airline standards and exceed customer expectations
  • Assign duties, responsibilities and staff roster to maintain efficient service levels during operational hours
  • Provide coaching to ensure high quality service levels are achieved and procedures are correctly applied

The skills required of the Reservation and Ticketing Supervisor are as follows:

Experience and Personal Qualities of a Reservation and Ticketing Supervisor:

  • Managing the reservations team and any escalated queries.
  • Staff rosters during normal working day and holiday periods, ensuring even distribution of workflow
  • Hands-on reservations and ticketing in line with both airlines and company’s internal administrative and financial processes
  • Administering airline host systems, including sign-in allocations.
  • Processing payments of airline tickets and adhering to strict reporting guidelines.
  • Dealing with ticket reissues, upgrades, reroutes, lost tickets, etc both telephonically and face-to-face
  • Dealing with groups and allocations in conformance to individual airline contracts
  • Staff recruitment when required, in co-operation with the Head of Aviation
  • Continuous motivation of the team to provide best service
  • Assimilation and distribution of information to the team as appropriate
  • Good general education
  • Training/qualifications in airline reservations, fares and ticketing would be an advantage

Role is usual business hours Monday - Friday
