*As a Reservations and Sales Assistant you will provide outstanding service to our guests and will put them at the heart of everything we do.
*Working within the Reservations team you will be a first point of contact for our trade and groups customers, support sales and customer communications activities across the business and assist in the implementation of marketing initiatives. Your enthusiasm and interpersonal skills will need to be combined with strong sales and confident IT skills.
*You will contribute to maximise sales and revenue opportunities including up-selling of current products and services to reach targets in line with our objectives.
*Do you have the ability to plan and prioritise sales activities towards achieving agreed business aims and objectives whilst maintaining and developing existing and new customer relationships? If so, then this could be the role for you. The successful applicant will deliver excellent customer service, have a positive 'can do' attitude and be willing to learn and show that they care.
*Maintain relationships with new, regular and previous bookers and provide a consistently high level of service with all external customers and internal teams.
*Liaise with the attractions and advise the attractions of pre-booked arrivals on a daily basis and maintain daily communication with the onsite teams.
*Actively upsell ticket and ancillary items and packages under the guidance and management of the Sales and Reservations Manager and attractions teams.
*Take and process payments from guests, chase outstanding payments and prepare accurate and timely reports.
*Provide general sales administration support for reservations and sales including inputting information on the reservations system, costings sheet creation and administration and other activities as required.
*Make active sales calls to new and existing trade customers in line with weekly/monthly targets.
*Pro-active sales activity.
*Prepare accurate reports for pre-booked reservations for all Continuum attractions to agreed deadlines.
*Support all trade show follow up activity for the Group.
Sales and customer relationship experience and previous experience of sales administration and reporting from a bookings database are desirable.
