A lovely role has become available for someone to support the day to day sales and operations department by providing comprehensive sales, administrative and customer service. You will be offering a fully encompassing support function to all our travel trade account partners, suppliers and direct customers.


Reservations / Admin Consultant  Job Specification

•             Maximise sales leads generated from both travel trade and direct customers, by providing excellent customer service

•             Provide a full support service to travel trade / direct customers  via telephone and email – liaising with other internal and overseas departments to provide resolutions to issues   raised

•             Maintaining the ‘Agent File’ database, including agent commissions, view-data/web passwords,  ensuring all data is accurate and up to date

•             Organisation and administration of trade promotional events and competitions

•             Produce and distribute effective communication both internally and externally, via the most appropriate manner

•             Participation in the day to day office tasks including, but not limited to, opening and actioning post, filing, issuing travel documentation, telephone answering, and general administration

•             Provide a personal administrative service to  key members of the Management Team, including management of E mail inbox, and diary

•             Assist in organising and hosting overseas educational and promotional events (may sometimes incorporate unsociable hours)           

•             Resolving all requests, tasks, and questions within agreed timescales

•             Achieves expected standards, objectives and sales targets

•             Constantly looking for ways to improve service and processes to aid our customer experience


Reservations/ Admin Consultant Skills   


•             Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including senior management

•             A background in Travel Sales / Customer Service

•             Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

•             Self-motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative, and as an effective team member

•             Numerate and accurate

•             Fluent in English, spoken and written

•             Problem solving skills

•             Friendly, positive, with a flexible approach

•             A good awareness of Tour Operating and / or Travel Trade in general
