Reservations Consultant - London Attractions & Theatre– central London - £18.5k

 

A Reservations Consultant  is required by a market leading inbound tour operator who are well-established and regular award winners, seen as the experts in their niche travel field to make reservations for London Attractions and Theatre for Travel Trade partners.  As a Reservations Consultant, you will be responsible the highest standards of customer service in the selling and processing of bookings for travel services to existing and new trade clients.

 

London Travel Reservations Consultant – what will you do?

 

  • Selling travel services by phone or email in accordance with brand standards
  • Maintain and develop relationships with Travel Trade clients understanding their business needs
  • Participate in campaigns, delivering new reservations and increase our database information
  • Process, maintain and actively grow new and existing clients’ sales
  • Offer after-sale assistance and reply to queries
  • Process reservations at the correct buy rates and (contracted) sell rates for maximum margin
  • Upsell additional product as appropriate at every opportunity
  • Keep up to date with travel product knowledge and special promotions to maximise sales conversion rates and profitability for the business
  • Attend Industry events, trade nights or familiarity trips as required

 

The successful Travel Trade Reservations Consultant will have experience in customer service dealing with reservations, and preferably travel trade suppliers.  As Travel Trade Reservations, you will have the ability to deliver excellent customer service, multi-task and have first class communication skills with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and a desire to deliver high standards.  This Travel Trade Reservations role would be ideal for someone looking to progress from hotels to the travel industry.
