Reservations /Tailor made Head of Department required to join luxury be spoke high end travel company who are looking to expand.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with all on the ground to ensure our clients are treated well and we get additional perks through this connection
  • Implementation of new protocols working hand in hand with the Creative Executives
  • Working with the Sales Director to train new members of staff.
  • Designing new itineraries for the website
  • Contributing with new marketing initiatives to promote more interest in Europe
  • Utilising our systems for the team’s benefit encouraging higher levels of knowledge on the product available and assisting them in self-development through publishing webinars and videos of relevant properties

Experience:

  • Experience and demonstrable success in managing a team establishing relationships and contracts with DMC’s
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in the travel sector with a proven track record in achieving sales targets and providing high levels of customer service

Skills:

  • Excellent relationship building and management skills to quickly engage with a range of clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrates a sound understanding and empathy for clients' needs and actively seeks to improve the clients' experience.
  • Ability to think strategically, but also be action focused.
  • Precise and efficient written communication
  • Concise and articulate verbal communications to respond to client and DMC requests
  • Strong planning and organisation skills to plan and manage the team’s activity.
  • Sound analytical skills to identify new business opportunities from existing clients and market and competitor analysis.
  • Well-developed problem solving skills: Pre-empts and seeks to resolve potential problems and issues before they occur.
  • Demonstrates good judgement in knowing when to act independently and when to escalate an issue to senior management.
  • IT literacy to effectively use CRM database, email systems, etc.

  • Well organised, patient and methodical
  • Ability to actively listen and demonstrate empathy with clients and colleagues.
  • A logical mind with strong attention to detail to ensure that tasks are completed.
