At Select Hospitality Norwich we are ecstatic to now be recruiting on behalf of one of our most successful clients in the area, for a Restaurant Manager to take control of one of their exciting, trendy venues in the Hertfordshire area. This role would be perfect for an experienced industry professional with a big personality and a strong background in working within and managing high volume premium bar and casual dining venues.

The style of cuisine that my client is now producing, promoting and delivering at the restaurant is very much High End grill sharing dishes, and British classics with flare, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. Their service meets a wide clientle market, and their quirky, stylish food options suit a variety of taste. Salary and Benefits:

Key Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and control your restaurant team with 'hands on' approach
- Running a busy high volume casual dining, restaurant venue to a very high standard
- Managing service in an organised and efficient way, ensuring it is as smooth of possible
- Create an energetic, warm and relaxed vibe within the restaurant and ensure your dining guests are happy
- Train all staff, motivate them and complete reviews/ appraisals if required
- Support the Bar Manager and General Manager and step in with their absence
- Create a fantastic, luxury and relaxed customer service, and ensure all is being done to achieve this
- Oversee all areas of the business and handle any issues or problems required
- Open and lock up the business regularly as and when required
- Assist the General Manager in recruitment for this area of the business, ensuring company standards and procedures are met and finding stand out candidates
- Addressing and solving problems
- Communicating with all staff and managers to maintain a smoother service
- Be a professional and strong role model within the team, and representing the company in the best possible way
- Market the company and organise various successful events
- Network and grow the venues reputation
- Drive KPIs within the restaurant team and always work towards achieving targets

Desirable Skills:
- Previous management experience within trendy successful bar and restaurant venues
- Understanding and experience within high volume hospitality environments
- London-Centric F&B knowledge and work experience
- Proven track record in achieving and meeting successful targets and figures
- Passionate and enthusiastic about the Hospitality Industry, and being successful
- A love for cocktails, cool bars, restaurants and experience in this
- Ability to lead, train and build a strong a successful team
- Previous KPI experience within a business
- Fantastic customer service, at all times
- A large personality, who can connect with all types of people and build strong relationships
- Easy going and a great team player, able to get a long with everyone in the team as well as manage them
- Knowledge and experience in marketing, promotion and running events
- Personal License Qualification
- Own transport and driving license
