Stunning quality, yet relaxed restaurant operation with bedrooms is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the running of their food operation. Serving an array of sumptuous dishes made from meat, vegetables and fruit sourced from the local area is looking to work towards several accolades for its food. In your role as Restaurant Manager you will have a real passion for food and will really get stuck in to this hands-on front of house role where you will work to ensure service of the highest standard, staff are working to the best of their abilities and convey the message of 'food passion' to your customers. The role is service focused and successful candidates will be given the opportunity to progress if you are the right fit. This stunning hotel is located in a beautiful area of Scotland. This would ideally suit someone who is looking to grow in the fine dining industry. You will be asked to double as Duty Manager on the odd occasion as the team is small and compact. This should show that opportunities will be there to progress in to full ops and GM roles in the future. Reporting directly in to the GM this is not an opportunity to be missed.My Clients would like to recruit a Restaurant Manager. The ideal candidate for this position may have previous experience in a similar role with a minimum of 1 year in a 5* star property at supervisory/management level or 2 years in a 4* start property at a management level. You will be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service and standards and be driven with a keen eye for detail. You with the ability to organise and plan ahead and have the ability to lead, multi-task and make sound decisions in fast-paced environment. The Restaurant Managers main duties are to oversee all Food & Beverage operations in the dining room, host area, bar or lounge and function room. You will help ensure that each dinner shift runs well from operational point of view. You will also be expected to interact with guests for quality assurance reasons and to help create a positive guest experience. Further duties including compiling weekly reports which are to be sent to Chef Proprietor to oversee how the restaurant is operating. He will also visits around 5 times a year to catch up with the team so if ever there was a chance to make a name for yourself this could be it!
