Support Crew - Retreat - Retail and Customer Service at Blackwood Forest, Hampshire

Full time, permanent position

The role is multi-faceted and interesting. In essence, it involves doing anything and everything you would expect from working as part of a retail team to deliver exceptional customer service - from meeting and greeting customers; working in a busy reception, resolving customer queries to operating in the bar area and working in the kitchen preparing meals for guests.

Location: Blackwood Forest, Hampshire
Hours: Full time
Contract type: Permanent
Benefits: Support Crew benefits include an optional pension scheme, full paid holiday and the opportunity to join a great team and deliver an outstanding holiday experience for our customers. Also offered is a team discount on our cabins for both yourself and your friends and family. We have a strategy to promote from within so this could be your first step on the ladder of running your own site one day.

You'll champion our ethical and ecological values, promote our activities, and be open and available to customers for advice, help and service. As a flexible, enthusiastic member of the team you will thrive under pressure and be happy to get involved in other activities on site.

Skills and Experience

Passionate about creating unique and memorable holiday experiences, you should have a background that involves resolving customer issues and balancing the demands of customer service and commercial success. Articulate and approachable, you must be able to strike a rapport with customers and have a helpful, positive personality. You will see problems as opportunities, and though you are confident and independent, you will also be a team player. Basic IT literacy would be an advantage and you should understand how everything that you do can impact on profit and loss.

About the business

Forest Holidays has funding to build several more of our stunning locations across the country. We are always on the lookout for talented and hardworking individuals to join our team.

To apply, please email your CV and details of your current package. In a covering letter you should state why your skills and experience make you ideal for the position as well as why joining the Forest Holidays team appeals to you. You should also confirm you have your own transport and that you are available to work Mondays and Fridays plus one day at the weekend.
