Retail Travel Branch Manager – Independent Travel Company – Troon, Ayrshire

Our client, a leading independent travel company, is currently looking to recruit an experienced retail travel branch manager to oversee & develop their well-established retail travel office in Troon, Ayrshire

The Role

As a retail travel branch manager you will be required to oversee & develop a busy retail travel office, and manage, motivate & train a dedicated team of travel sales consultants. You will lead by example, ensuring that all sales & service targets and met (and where possible exceeded), and ensure that all staff members work to their full potential. You will handle all marketing & administration for the branch, and act as a first line of support to your team, dealing with any problems or issues in a professional & efficient manner. You will cover all banking duties for the branch, and roll out any new policies & procedures as required. You will also work in a ‘hands on’ capacity on a regular basis, handling travel requests from customers, and making bookings for all areas of retail travel.

Requirements

As a retail travel branch manager you will have proven experience working in a similar branch management role for an independent or multiple travel agency in the UK, and have the ability to manage, motivate & train a dedicated team of travel sales consultants. You will be an extremely sales & customer focused branch manager, who can lead by example, and help their staff maximise the revenue & profit margin on each booking they make. You will have extensive experience booking all areas of retail travel, and have a good overall knowledge of the UK travel industry. You will also be a self-starter, who is very organised, driven by results, and who can communicate effectively on all levels.

Salary & Benefits

Excellent basic salary on offer for the right retail travel branch manager, along with a great commission structure & benefits package, and sociable hours of work Monday to Saturday (5 days)
