Duties & Responsibilities


As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the high standard of cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms, whilst keeping customer service at the forefront of all of what you do.

With your outstanding attention to detail and a thorough knowledge on how to clean bedrooms and bathrooms,

you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Demonstrates excellent time keeping and completes duties assigned
  • Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the company experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of, genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintain Health and Safety Standards of all work areas

    Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills

  • Strive to achieve departmental targets
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

Required essential experience skills and qualifications


As a room attendant, you will always be working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Hosts. To be successful in this role, you will have a good command of the English language, both spoken and written and be able to maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • Positive attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Ability to work on your own or within a team

Previous experience in a similar role and in a similar style of operation preferred but not essential. Applicants should be pro-active and reliable. You should be able to work alone and within a team.

Please note that this role entails frequent physical and manual handling aspects to include pushing, pulling and lifting, as well as kneeling and long periods of standing.
