Sales and Customer Service Manger - West Midlands, Basic Salary £30,000
Are you looking for an exciting career opportunity? A new position has arisen for a Sales and Customer Service Manger


Sales and Customer Service Mangers Main Duties

  • To recruit, mentor, manage, appraise and develop the sales & customer service team.
  • To manage the retention of loyal customers through pro-active communication channels
  • To work with the new business sales team to source and secure new business sales opportunities and ensure new business sales targets are achieved.
  • Resolve complaints to the customer's satisfaction
  • To build relations with internal managers, centre managers and the operations
  • To ensure that an effective seasonal `on call` system is in place for our customers out of hours and that this is well managed to deliver a good, 24 hours service while customers are travelling
  • To ensure that we deliver good quality & safe standard of transport to our customers, conforming to external and internal standards, in line with agreed budgets


Sales and Customer Service Mangers Skills Required

  • Experience within the educational travel sector would be a distinct advantage, but not essential, as would sales experience within the education sector.
  • Travel industry experience
  • A passion for adventurous activities is essential
  • Customer service and sales management experience
  • Account management experience/direct sales experience
  • Proven track record- sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience within the educational travel sector would be a distinct advantage, but not essential.
  • Sales experience within the education sector.
  • Travel industry experience
  • A passion for adventurous activities is essential


Sales and Customer Service Managers Additional Information-

  • £30,000 plus a profit share scheme (which will commence 3 months after starting the post)
  • Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm.
  • Holidays 22+8 bank holidays + additional days for being `on call` on a rota basis.
  • Experience within the educational travel sector would be a distinct advantage, but not essential, as would sales experience within the education sector.
  • Travel industry experience
  • A passion for adventurous activities is essential
