Fantastic opportunity for an all-rounder to join an outstanding travel company and run this part of the business 

He/she will manage all sales & bookings from inception to confirmation of final booking payment via phone, instant chat & email helping clients through the entire booking process and where possible up- selling all company products.

Sales / Customer Service Manager Responsibilities


•             Converting enquiries into bookings from telephone and online leads as well as managing the online booking system

•             Dealing with all external agents which includes keeping any prices up to date, alerting them to changes in product and including finding new agents

•             Looking after guests from their initial call to their arrival date on holiday

•             Managing all post sales administration including reviews &customer queries and complaints

•             Liaising with property owners and managers both in the UK and abroad

•             Creating and maintaining supplier relations

•             Providing accurate monthly reports on sales and keeping a note of all enquiries

•             Product development to help source new and exciting properties

•             To be fundamental in the integration of a CRM system

•             Working closely with marketing and BD team to acquire new properties through strategic advertising, building of local connections – maintaining and chasing these leads until completion of contract

•             Manage all marketing channels (Airbnb / Owners Direct / Trip Advisor / Expedia etc) on a daily basis to ensure all information is correct – changing pricing, photos and local I    information where necessary so it aligns with all marketing & press activity


Sales / Customer Service Manager skills

•             Have experience working in sales and guest relations for a luxury UK market

•             Have an impeccable telephone manner

•             Be able to demonstrate attention to detail in their work

•             Be looking to develop their career

•             Motivated and excited by the travel business

•             Be proactive and able to self-manage in the office

•             Be able to think on their feet and creatively

•             Be able to work well in a team

•             Have an interest in IT development and the short stay letting business
