Sales Development Manager - Field Based - Up To £30K

Our client is a Global Travel Network with offices worldwide. They are looking for a Sales Development Manager to manage existing member partners as well as recruiting new member partners and onboarding them in the use of our clients new booking platform. This is an amazing opportunity to join a fantastic company at a very exciting time.

The responsibilities of the Sales Development Manager are:

  • Develop the sales of the booking platform by identifying key members to work with
  • Drive these sales to achieve forecasted passenger numbers, turnover and profit
  • Assess member sales regularly to determine next steps
  • Develop an effective training and implementation plan
  • Deliver relevant training face to face or by webinar
  • Ensure relevant members are fully trained and conversant with the systems and processes
  • Ensure a thorough feedback process is in place to help the central team identify any specific development opportunities with the system, based on member feedback and own observations
  • Plan any follow-up meetings to ensure system is fully embedded in the members’ business and that the product is being used throughout the business
  • Provide members with a regular update of their sales performance
  • Ensure the business development team are fully engaged in the system and are aware of the members who are being trained
  • Act as a conduit between the centre and member to ensure feedback is captured and shared centrally
  • Provide own suggestions/recommendations for systems improvement

  • Able to comfortably liaise with business members and address their needs
  • Working with the leisure travel sector
