David Urquhart Sky Travel is recruiting for a Sales Manager to oversee its busy call centre.

 

Responsibilities will include :

  • Ensuring sales enquiry conversion rates are maximised

  • Motivate and engage with sales staff

  • Promote team work

  • Identify and address training requirements

  • Ensure organisational processes and procedures are followed

  • Ensure customer service standards are maintained

  • Handle basic customer service issues

  • Liaise with and report to senior managers and directors

The Sales Manager will be expected to lead by example, so a record of achieving and surpassing sales targets within the leisure travel industry is essential. Previous experience of leading / managing a sales team would be an advantage, but candidates with the necessary industry experience and looking to take a first step into management will certainly be considered. The successful candidate will demonstrate a sound knowledge of the product type we offer, be familiar with relevant reservation systems, be self-motivated and driven to maximise sales. 

This is a full time, permanent position consisting of 37 hours per week, working any 5 days in 7.

 

Salary                    -              c£25k plus performance related bonus
