Sales Manager (Ecommerce) - Travel - London – £30k

 

A Sales Manager (Ecommerce) is needed by a highly regarded Inbound travel company who have consistently grown year on year for over a decade. As Sales Manager (Ecommerce) you will be responsible for commercial development of the Ecommerce business, delivering sales targets to help with growth across Ecommerce channels.  As Sales Manager (Ecommerce) you will also have a passion for travel, sales and ecommerce, looking for a career with a travel company that allows you to do all three! As Sales Manager (Ecommerce), you will be joining a lively team of like minded individuals who have a passion to enhance and create sales & marketing strategies developing relationships with existing and prospective clients.

 

As a Sales Manager (Ecommerce), what will you be doing?

  • Deliver day to day account management & development of existing partnerships through regular sales calls & meetings, creating reports, proposals & presentations where necessary, providing regular updates on activity & identifying new opportunities
  • Identify new sales targets & partnership opportunities, to introduce business through pro-active sales activity,
  • Preparing and delivering pitches as required.
  • Develop and implement the sales and marketing strategy for the ecommerce segment
  • Working closely with the IT and Digital teams in assisting new & existing clients in the implementation of Encore ecommerce platforms
  • Working closely with the Product and Marketing team to plan campaigns and promotions
  • Maintain an expert working knowledge of market (sub)segments
  • Maintain and grow the company profile through networking and representing the company at (trade) events
  • Ensure Press Releases are in line with S&M Strategy and delivered into relevant trade press
  • Deliver and maintain cost effective budgets
  • Participate in the development of marketing material and collateral including brochures, newsletters and electronic newsletters
