A well-established and respected tour operator are looking for a Sales and Marketing Executive to join their award winning team. Paying a key role, in an exciting time for the company you will be taking responsibility for specific Sales and Marketing campaigns and projects and with the implementation and delivery of the department’s policy, strategy and campaigns to deliver the online & offline sales strategy. You will work across a range of travel brands, playing an integral role in customer acquisition and enquiry generation by effectively managing campaigns.
As Sales and Marketing Executive you will be working in a varied position which will see you covering various disciplines including:
Online/Offline Marketing - Keeping websites up to date, helping to drive traffic through sales campaigns by developing a profitable online presence for the web portfolio being responsible for promotions. Managing campaigns, coordinating all campaign elements including copy writing, briefing web design, proofing and sign off. The creation of newsletters to agents and customers for late deals and maintaining the company’s email databases.
Sales Development- To achieve or exceed sales targets and increase revenue growth through development and conversion of new prospects and business including the management of new sales quotations and the identification of business leads and maximise their potential. Prepare and deliver presentations both to secure new business and for the maintenance of existing business
Campaign management - Support the development and performance of press, digital, affiliate and social media marketing and assist all external suppliers with required content to ensure deadlines are met
Public Relations - Assist with new PR ideas, special offers and any other relevant campaigns
Reporting – Monitor the company’s position and to supply such information to allow reports to be produced, with relevant statistics on sales, advertising and email campaigns plus ad hoc reports
Exhibitions - Attend and assist with exhibitions and educationals as and when required.
Product – Assisting with brochure production showing a high level of accuracy
The ideal candidate will be a individual who is able to draw upon their creative side whenever there's an opportunity for originality, with an attention to detail and a passion for Sales and Marketing with the energy and drive to achieve results. The ability to adapt to a fast-moving environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring your attention to detail never falters and have a tenacious streak to see tasks to through to completion within tight timescales. The successful Sales and Marketing executive will have experience in travel with a solid knowledge of either online or off line marketing or direct sales activities. You will be possess excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage all stakeholders including clients at all levels within the organisation.
